The workshop purpose is to allow people to lead, we’ll have the governance follow.  We’re a people first, bottom up organization.  Democracy is inherent in the co-operative land development company Sideworks hopes to become.  The cardinal rule of democracy is you have to talk about it.  Belonging to a place begins by acting as an investor, an owner and a creator of the place.  The intent is to begin an ongoing design conversation that allows the people who might live in the community, into the conversation about the future they would like to create for themselves.  Together we’ll see what group genius might unleash within a spirit of shared creation.  The hope is the community might begin to build itself.
